HEAD CHAIR
Greetings delegates,
I’m Emily, a senior in high school attending CIS, and it is to my utmost pleasure to serve as your head chair in HRC for this year’s CIACAMUN2025. With this marking my 17th conference, and the uncountable time I’ve attended a conference as a chair, I look forward to engaging in insightful debates, exploring the diverse international perspectives, and seeking solutions for pressing issues existing in the threatening realms under the realm of the UN Human Rights Council.
As a head chair, It is a privilege for me to be able to take part in this much anticipated event, and I’m committed to having your expectations to be fulfilled.
With the active participation and engagement of delegates, I am more than confident that our committee will be able to create significant progress of improvement towards the issues under the HRC committee.

Tom Callebaut
My name is Tom Callebaut, I’m 16 and a junior at the Lycée Français René Descartes in Phnom Penh. I’m thrilled to be serving as your Deputy Chair for the Human Rights Council at this conference. This will be my sixth MUN but my very first time chairing which means I’m just as excited (and maybe slightly nervous) as some of you might be. My goal is to create a space where diplomacy meets a good atmosphere: serious debate, smart solutions, and a few laughs along the way. I want everyone to feel welcome, step out of their comfort zone, and genuinely enjoy the experience.
